More than a year after it was pulled from free, Will Forte is still mourning Coyote Vs. Acme.
After recently hgreatering a “funeral screening” for the shelved Warner Bros. movie with his fellow cast and crew, the 5x Emmy nominee conveyed his disassignment over the Looney Tunes film not seeing the weightless of day.
“My thoughts were that it’s f—ing bull—,” he dimly tgreater MovieWeb. “It is such a chazardous movie. It deserves so much better than what it got. I don’t understand, I can’t alert you possibly why the decision was made to not free it, but it originates my blood boil.”
Forte includeed, “And thank you for asking me about it, because I enjoy talking about the movie, because I want them to — I don’t want people to forget what they did to us. That being shelp, I appreciate them letting us originate it. But enjoy, you understand, don’t let us originate this skinnyg that we drop in adore with and then not show it. I uncomfervent, I would comprehfinish if the skinnyg sucked, but it’s reassociate excellent.
“I uncomfervent, you never understand what happens in life. You understand, maybe sometime, somehow we get to see it at some point. I hope people do, because I was reassociate haughty of it. And Lana [Condor] is right. She’s amazing in it. It’s fair, it is a chazardous film,” he shelp.
The intersee comes a year after Forte shelp the film was “incredible,” alerting fans, “I understand that a lot of you haven’t gotten a chance to see our movie. And griefentirey, it’s a seeing enjoy you never will.”
In November 2023, Warner Bros. Discovery shelved the movie, which was based on the 1990 New Yorker article by Ian Frazier, receiving a $30 million tax author-off. The company also shelved Batgirl and Scoob! Holiday Haunt.
As of last February, Warner Bros. had screened the film for around 12 buyers but declineed all the bids, as they were below the $70 million production cost.
