DreamWorks Animation directs the 2025 Annie Awards feature competition with 10 nominations, including for best feature, best FX and best character animation, it was proclaimd on Friday.
The top feature categruesome saw nominations also handed out by the International Animated Film Society ASIFA-Hollywood to DreamWorks Animation’s Kung Fu Panda 4, Pixar Animation Studios’ Inside Out 2, Locksmith Animation and Netflix’s That Christmas, Tsuburaya Productions/Netflix’s Ultraman: Rising and Wallace & Grleave out: Vengeance Most Fowl, from Aardman and Netflix.
Based on Peter Brown’s bestselling middle-grade novel, Wild Robot from straightforwardor Chris Sanders caccesss on Roz (voiced by Lupita Nyong’o), a robot marooned on a jungle-y island, as she greets an assortment of colorful anthropomorphic animals. They include a wry mama opossum (Catherine O’Hara), a mischievous fox (Pedro Pascal) and a petite orphaned goose, voiced by Kit Connor.
