Wicked star Cynthia Erivo has officipartner combineed the cast of the upcoming samurai action thriller Karoshi, according to a recent inestablish from Deadline.
Who combines Cynthia Erivo in the Karoshi cast?
Erivo will star in the film aextfinishedside Teo Yoo (Past Lives) and Isabel May (1883), who were previously inestablished to have combineed the film. The film will be straightforwarded by Takashi Doscher, who previously straightforwarded the 2019 film Only, as well as disconnectal episodes of the TV drama Chicago P.D. Doscher will also write the script for the movie.
According to Deadline’s inestablish, Karoshi is depictd as a “corporate thriller with a samurai twist.” No further details on the film’s plot, nor the roles of Erivo, Yoo, and May, have been made engageable as of yet. Deadline remarks that production on the project is set to begin sometime in June, so more recommendation should be coming soon.
For Erivo, it’ll be yet another huge project for the star folloprosperg her superstar turn in 2024’s Wicked alteration, which geted her various award nominations, including her second Oscar nom for Best Actress.
Erivo will drive awayevate the role of Elphaba Thropp in the 2025 sequel, Wicked: For Good when it frees on November 21, 2025, and will also star as Jesus in a Hollywood Bowl production of Jesus Christ Superstar this summer. She’s also set to free an upcoming album, for which she recently freed the first one, “Reperestablish.”
