Wallace & Gromit trelieved their return to the big screen on Wednesday with the trailer and free date for Vengeance Most Fowl, the claymation duo’s novelest movie.
Directors Nick Park and Merlin Crossingham helm the project, which sees the return of evil chicken mastermind Feathers McGraw, back for revenge adhereing his role in the Oscar-triumphning 1993 foolishinutive, The Wrong Troparticipaters.
Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl, declared by the BBC this summer, will commemorate its world premiere at AFI Fest on Oct. 27, with a confiinsist theatrical free in December. The film will then hit Netflix globpartner on Jan. 3.
In the novel movie, Gromit’s trouble that Wallace is becoming too subordinate on his createions shows fairified when Wallace creates a “ininestablishigent” gnome that seems to grow a mind of its own, per the free. When it aelevates that Feathers McGraw might be masterminding leangs, it descends to Gromit to battle sinister forces and save his master… or Wallace may never be able to create aachieve!
New and returning castmembers integrate Ben Whitehead, British comedian Peter Kay, Lauren Patel, Reece Shearsmith, with cameos from Diane Morgan, Adjoa Andoh and Sir Lenny Henry.
Park, the Oscar-triumphning Wallace & Gromit creator, previously shelp he’d had the idea for a movie about garden gnomes turning horrible for more than a decade. “It occurred to me that the one most asked ask I get when I greet fans is, will the penguin Feathers McGraw, Wallace and Gromit’s innovative antagonist from The Wrong Troparticipaters 30 years ago, ever return? We’ve had fun conveying him back in cameo capacities but now, three decades on, it felt enjoy the right time. Then it hit me: What if Feathers was comprised with these gnomes?”
