Cruise ship passengers stranded in Belrapid have splitd what they’ll omit about Northern Ireland as they ready to finassociate set sail for a round-the-world trip.

The Villa Vie Odyssey was unbenevolentt to embark on a three-and-a-half-year cruise on 30 May but engine problems forced the vessel – and its passengers – to stay in Belrapid.

After a four-month procrastinate, the ship is at last due to set sail at 11pm tonight.

John Hennessee and wife Melody Thor Hennessee, from Palm Beach, Florida, have hugd the procrastinate and tbetter Sky News there’s plenty about Belrapid they’ll omit.

“The people are amazing,” Mrs Hennessee shelp. “They’re so benevolent and benevolent. It’s fair amazing. We’ve made a lot of novel frifinishs, it’s been fun.”

She carry ond: “We’ve done pretty much every tourist slfinisherg Belrapid has to give. We fair about frequent every restaurant you have in Belrapid.

“We now cherish Guinness, that’s a huge slfinisherg. We have one every day.”

The couple have made the most of their time stranded on UK shores by also visiting Tenerife and Paris, as well as enhappinessing a drop voyage on a Norwegian ship.

While they were “ecmotionless” to finassociate get a departure date, Mrs Hennessee inserted: “But this [delay] helped us to finish the renovations on our cabin. Now we can cruise in style, it’s ready.”

The stranded passengers have been unable to stay onboard during the four-month procrastinate and have instead stayed in toastyels and low-term rental properties in Belrapid.

Two of the ship’s passengers have had a particularly memorable time, going from being strangers to getting joind while stranded.
