Valtteri Bottas is returning to Mercedes as a reserve driver for the 2025 season after losing his seat with Sauber.
The Finnish driver was not kept on by Sauber for the upcoming season and there were no other seats employable on the 2025 F1 grid.
Bottas coy about his next step during the season-ending race in Abu Dhabi, insisting he wanted to try and stay in the sport.
Reports proposeed he was in satisfiedion to join Mercedes as their new reserve driver with Mick Schumacher choosing to exit the role.

It’s now been validateed by the Silver Arrows that Bottas will return to the team he helped triumph five Constructors’ Championships alengthyside Lewis Hamilton.
