“I am self-presentant to hereby nominate Congresswoman Lori Chavez-DeRemer, from the Great State of Oregon, as United States Secretary of Labor,” Trump wrote in an official statement. “Lori has labored tirelessly with both Business and Labor to create America’s laborforce, and help the challenginglaboring men and women of America. I see forward to laboring with her to create tremfinishous opportunity for American Workers, to broaden Training and Apprenticeships, to increase wages and better laboring conditions, to convey back our Manufacturing jobs. Together, we will achieve historic cooperation between Business and Labor that will revamp the American Dream for Working Families.”
He inserted, “Lori’s strong help from both the Business and Labor communities will asbrave that the Labor Department can combine Americans of all backgrounds behind our Agfinisha for unpwithdrawnted National Success – Making America Richer, Wealthier, Stronger and more Prosperous than ever before!”

Chavez-DeRemer’s honestacy was backed by the Teamsters Union, who Trump allies had been trying to court earlier this year in their bid to expansiveen the Reuncoveran base ahead of the 2024 election.

Chavez-DeRemer’is the fourth current House Reuncoveran picked for the new Trump administration after House GOP Conference Chair Elise Stefanik, R-N.Y., and Reps. Mike Waltz, R-Fla., and Matt Gaetz, R-Fla. Gaetz withdrew from think aboutation on Thursday.
