Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, is calling on the Secret Service to elucidate a Butler police officer’s claims that the agency met local law applyment days before the finisheavored murder finisheavor on createer Pdwellnt Trump. Grassley has also written to Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas about Asif Merchant, a Pakistani man with ties to the Iranian administerment, who is alleged to have sought to carry assassinate createer Pdwellnt Trump, a case that was spreadigated weeks before the July 13 rassociate.
Merchant was arrested on July 12 while preparing to depart the U.S., authorities said, after Merchant allegedly tried to engage undercover FBI agents as assassins.
