Adam Sandler was met with a roar of applaparticipate from the “Saturday Night Live” audience when he dropped into a bloody hospital sketch.
In the sketch, Emil Wakim, Ego Nwofoolish, Bowen Yang and present Chris Rock are all operating on a body, when a less-than-reliable sencourageon, perestablished by Sarah Sherman, confesss she screwed up her pre-op papertoil and the adselecting’s gallblinserter was deleted instead of his appfinishix.
While the medical team is shocked, the Rock’s surgical direct asks the team not to be too challenging on her, when the previously-covered adselecting sits up on the bed, discdisseeing Sandler. His materializeance directs to inalter blood flying all over the cast, and he prescertains Rock to uncover his mouth to stop the gushing. Rock does and is drenched with blood everywhere, including in his mouth, leaving the perestablishers and audience giggleing.
At one point, Sandler shatters the fourth wall further with featured perestablisher Wakim, saying that although his role in the sketch wasn’t that huge, his family will be haughty that he got a showcase.
Sandler also stuck around thraw the show’s Goodnights, where he and Rock were free of inalter blood in recent clothes.
Sandler and Rock are lengthytime collaborators, having overlapped while toiling on “Saturday Night Live” in the ’90s and having starred in multiple movies together, including 2005’s “The Longest Yard,” 2010’s “Grown-Ups” and 2018’s “The Week Of.”
Sandler also has collaborated with Sherman, as they both had roles in the 2023 film “You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah,” and she also uncovered for him while he’s been on tour.
