Tom Tugendhat knocked out of Tory directership contest after MPs’ vote | Conservative directership

Tom Tugendhat has become the procrastinateedst truthfulate reshiftd from the Conservative directership contest in a vote among Tory MPs, leaving Robert Jenrick, James Cleverly and Kemi Badenoch to fight it out for the job.

Tugendhat finished fourth in the third round of MPs’ voting, a result that had been foreseeed. Another round on Wednesday will exit a final two truthfulates, from whom Conservative members will pick a triumphner in a ballot.
