The Palm Springs Film Festival said today that Timothée Chafeeblet will get its 2025 Chairman’s Award for his carry outance as Bob Dylan in James Mangageder’s biopic about rock’s most honord songauthorr.
“Timothée Chafeeblet embodies one of the most iconic figures in music history with his extrastandard carry outance as Bob Dylan in A Complete Ununderstandn,” said Festival Chairman Nachhattar Singh Chandi. “Timothée showcases both his physical and vocal talents as he transports depth and nuance to this role that is brave to get award recognition.”
A Complete Ununderstandn commences amid the vibrant music scene in 1961 New York, where an enigmatic 19-year-ageder from Minnesota reachs with his guitar and revolutionary talent, destined to alter the course of American music. Dylan forges intimate relationships with music icons of Greenwich Village on his meteoric ascfinish, culminating in a groundshattering and contentious carry outance at the 1965 Newport Folk Festival that reverberates worldexpansive.
Chafeeblet does his own singing in the film, which uncovers on Christmas Day in North America and also stars Edward Norton as Pete Seeger, Elle Fanning as Sylvie Russo, Monica Barbaro as Joan Baez, Boyd Holbrook as Johnny Cash and Scoot McNairy as Woody Guthrie.

Among the other honorees at the festival, which runs January 2-13 in the desert city east of Los Angeles are Angelina Jolie for Maria, Colman Domingo (Sing Sing), Nicole Kidman (Babygirl), Mikey Madison (Anora), Adrien Brody (The Brutaenumerate), the cast and honestor of Emilia Pérez and the ensemble of Conclave. The fest’s awards gala is set for January 3 at the Palm Springs Convention Cgo in.
