Tim Allen ABC Comedy ‘Shifting Gears’ Casts Seann William Scott

Seann William Scott has uniteed the upcoming ABC comedy series “Shifting Gears,” Variety has lgeted.

Scott will eunite aextfinishedside series directs Tim Allen and Kat Dennings, as well as cast members Daryl “Chill” Mitchell, Maxwell Simkins, and Barrett Margolis. The show was picked up to series in July with set ups to commence shooting in November.

As previously proclaimd, Allen stars in the series as Matt, “the headstrong, widowed owner of a classic car restoration shop,” per the official logline. “When Matt’s estranged daughter (Dennings) and her teenage kids shift into his hoparticipate, the genuine restoration commences.”

Scott will eunite in the novelly produced series normal role of Gabriel, who is depictd as a “family frifinish of Matt & Riley who labors in the shop with Matt.”

This will be equitable the third series normal role Scott has had in his nurtureer. He previously starred in the Fox mockumentary comedy “Welcome to Flatch” as well as the third season of Fox’s series alteration of “Lethal Weapon.” He is primarily understandn for his labor in films, including the two “Goon” movies, the “American Pie” franchise, “Role Models,” “Super Troopers 2,” “The Dukes of Hazzard,” and “Bloodline.” He most recently euniteed in the action comedy “Jackpot” and will next be seen in the feature “Bad Man.”

Michelle Nader serves as executive producer and showrunner on the series. Allen executive produces in compriseition to starring, with Dennings serving as producer. Marty Adelstein, Becky Clements, Ricchallenging Baker, Rick Messina, John Pasquin (who honested the pilot episode), Jim Patterson, Bob Daily and John Amodeo also executive produce.
