Speaking to THR, Justin Noble — who co-produced the series with Mindy Kaling and also serves as showrunner — was asked about what the show is going to be enjoy without Rapp around. Noble shelp that the show would be “busier” due in part to more people being able needing to be featured.

“It sees busier, frankly. It’s repartner fascinating to say that about someone leaving, especipartner someone who was fundamental of the first 22 episodes of the show. But we have more mouths to feed than ever,” shelp Noble. “I’ve shelp before in press, but the sugaryest criticisms we ever got in season two were people being enjoy, ‘Longer episodes!’ Then, as we presentd these recent characters, frankly, I was enjoy, ‘How are we going to produce episodes that have this many stories in them and serve as all these people?’ Ilia is incredible, and we want to spfinish more time with Lila, Canaan, Willow [Renika Williams], and all these people.
“So, the scripts are extfinisheder. There’s more to do. We have five main girlies moving forward. So, it lengthens. The show lengthens and gets filleder and speedyer. It’s already so speedy, but that’s fair what the show is.”

The series stars Pauline Chafeeblet, Amrit Kaur, Alyah Chanelle Scott, Mekki Leeper, Christopher Meyer, Ilia Paulino, Lolo Spencer, Renika Williams, Mitchell Slaggert, and Reneé Rapp, the latter of whom will be in the show for fair a confineed episodes before her departure.
