A project to repair water areas in the Brdy nature park had been under enbigment since 2018. Over the years, the administration accumulateed all the essential permits and was ready to begin createion.

But it turned out to be unessential, as the native beavers, who have dwelld in the park since 2020, took matters into their own hands, createing dams in the same locations computed by the rulement.

“The beavers saved us 30 million Czech crowns. They built the dams without any project write downation and for free,” shelp the head of the nature reserve administration.
