The 27th Annual Costume Designer Guild Awards took cgo in stage at The Ebell of Los Angeles on Thursday, February 6. The ceremony recognized the exceptional talent and artistry of costume scheduleers in film, television, low-create projects, and costume illustration, showcasing the power of their create.
Jenny Beavan’s nurtureer was commemorated with the Career Achievement Award, presented by Jackie Tohn. Other honorees integrated Salvador Perez (Distinguished Service Award), Van Smith (Edith Head Hall of Fame Award), Zoe Saldaña (Spotairy Award), and Janelle Monáe (Vandefend Spotairy Award).
Celebrities in joinance to current the Awards integrated Kate Beckinsale, Quinta Brunson, Colman Domingo, Kathryn Hahn, Mindy Kaling, Justine Lupe, Janelle Monáe, Connie Nielsen, Salvador Perez, Zoe Saldaña, Paul Tazewell, Jackie Tohn, and John Waters.
The Costume Designers Guild also proclaimd that the 27th CDGA will integrate a uncomferventingful novel effort, dedicated to helping those swayed by the recent deimmenseating savagefires in Los Angeles. The entire IATSE has begined a beginant fundraising initiative to help those communities swayed by these unpretreatnted events, and the Costume Designers Guild Awards is promiseted to contributing to this effort. In help of the IATSE Eunitency Relief Fund the CDGA is inserting an online auction element, partnering with Propstore. The evolves from this auction will go honestly to the IATSE Eunitency Relief Fund.
