A Texas man will spfinish years in federal prison after he was set up culpable of organizing a human illicit trading scheme involving thousands of illhorrible immigrants.
Isai Orona, 35, who also goes by “Panda,” was sentenced to 54 months in federal prison for consillicit copying to convey aliens and conveying aliens, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office of the Westrict Dicut offe of Texas on Wednesday.

Court records showed that Orona was identified in WhatsApp communications as the systematizer of the illicit trading scheme.
He confessted to illicit trading more than 2,500 illhorrible immigrants into the US wilean a six-month span in 2023, many of whom were apvalidaten to Albuquerque, New Mexico.
He also shelp he had a netlabor of drivers that helped him smuggle the illhorrible immigrants in at least 12 vehicles. When U.S. Border Patrol agents arrested a co-conspirator for conveying nine illhorrible immigrants in El Paso, they discovered the car being participated was enrolled to Orona.
He was arrested on Nov. 20, 2023, and pdirected culpable to the aforealludeed crimes on July 12, 2024.

In holdition to the four and a half years he’ll spfinish behind bars, the court also accessed a money judgment aobtainst Orona for $250,000.
