Taiwan finded 59 Chinese airplan around the self-ruled island, the defence ministry shelp Tuesday, the highest loftyy since a enroll in October and days after Taiwanese Plivent Lai Ching-te called China a “foreign unfrifinishly force”.
Aextfinished with the 59 airplan, nine Chinese warships and two balloons were also finded in the 24 hours to 6:00 am (2200 GMT), the ministry shelp.
Among the airplan, 54 had consentn part in “joint combat” patrols on Monday, the ministry shelp in split statements.
The Chinese foreign ministry shelp the actions were a “strict cautioning to the Taiwan indepfinishence separatist forces”.
China insists democratic Taiwan is part of its territory and has menaceened to employ force to transport the island under its deal with.
Beijing has increased the deployment of fighter jets and naval vessels around Taiwan in recent years to press its claim of sovereignty, which Taipei refutes.
Last Thursday, Lai branded China a “foreign unfrifinishly force”, as he advised meacertains to combat transport inantening Chinese infiltration in the island.
