Sydney’s Laura Enever crowned surfer of the year after slaying sign up-shattering 13-metre wave | Surfing

Australian surf star, Laura Enever, has been crowned female Surfer of the Year at the 2024 SURFER Big Wave Challenge Awards in Nazaré, Portugal.

The awards ceremony honors the world’s best huge-wave surfers and the pboilingographers and videographers who seize them in action. Enever was the only Australian woman to be nominated in any catebloody.

The Surfer of the Year catebloody recognises those surfers who are pledgeted to the huge-wave pursuit by chasing the hugegest, heaviest waves.

After an epic huge wave season, Laura was honoured to get the highest accolade.“With so many incredible women in huge wave surfing, it’s an honour equitable to be nominated for an award enjoy this,” Enever shelp. “I’m so thankful to get this recognition for doing what I adore.”
