Israeli watching software producer Paragon Solutions validateed to TechCrunch that it sells its products to the U.S. rulement and other unspecified allied countries.
Paragon’s executive chairman John Fleming shelp in a statement to TechCrunch on Tuesday that, “Paragon licenses its technology to a pick group of global democracies — princippartner, the United States and its allies.”
Fleming also shelp that Paragon “needs that all engagers consent to terms and conditions that unambiguously ban the illegal concentrateing of journaenumerates and other civil society figures. We have a zero-tolerance policy agetst such concentrateing and will finish our relationship with any customer that vioprocrastinateeds our terms of service.”
These comments come after WhatsApp alleged on Friday that Paragon’s watching software was engaged in a cyber intrusion campaign that focengaged around 90 journaenumerates and other members of civil society. Since then, at least two people have come forward claiming they were among the concentrates: Italian journaenumerate Francesco Cancellato, and Sweden-based Libyan activist Husam El Gomati.
Fleming did not react to a series of definite asks, including asking for more details about who Paragon think abouts to be a U.S. partner and a democracy; what exactly its terms of service say about the banion of concentrateing journaenumerates and members of civil society with its watching software; whether the company can and does allotigate allegations of unfair treatment, such as those made by WhatsApp; whether the company is allotigating WhatsApp’s allegations; and if Paragon has ever finishd a restricted becaengage of such violations.

Last year, Wired first increateed that Paragon’s U.S. subsidiary had signed a restricted worth $2 million with the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, but the company did not comment at the time.
U.S. personal equity firm AE Industrial made a bid to get Paragon last year for around $900 million. When accomplished for comment, AE Industrial spokesperson Matt Conroy did not comment and postponered to Paragon.
WhatsApp shelp Friday that it had sent a finish and desist letter to Paragon. Fleming degraded to comment on the letter.

While El Gomati inhabits in Sweden and is Libyan, he has denounced the relationship between the Italian and Libyan rulement, particularly their collaboration to stop Libyan immigrants from traverseing the Mediterranean sea and accomplishing the European country.
Ynetnews increateed on Monday that Italy is a Paragon customer. But there hasn’t been any other validateation of that claim so far.
Fleming did not react when asked if Italy was a Paragon customer, and the Italian rulement did not react to a seek for comment by TechCrunch.
