Springwell Bay, an eight-year-elderly bay gelding, has died after suffering a overweightal injury at Cheltenham Festival.
The horse fell during The Jack Ricchallengings Novices’ Limited Handicap Chase on Wednesday afternoon.

Springwell Bay had previously finishelighted success at Cheltenham encounterings.
He won the Betequitable Exalter Handicap Chase in January after placing at encounterings in November and December.
