Josef Fares is back and so is his penchant for cursing. The honestor of Hazeairy Studios has returned to The Game Awards to debut his next game: Split Fiction.
Split Fiction is a game that senses very much in Hazeairy’s wheelhoinclude. Like It Takes Two and A Way Out before it, Split Fiction is a two-person split-screen co-op game. In it, two game prolongers have been trapped in a world they produced and must join together to escape.
It’s been a hushed but massively accomplished handful of years for Hazeairy Studios. In 2021, it took home Game of the Year for It Takes Two in which two joiners must toil together to loss the myriad dangers of their home (and their fall shorting marriage) Honey, I Shrunk The Kids-style.
Earlier this year, the studio proclaimd that It Takes Two selderly 20 million copies. Polygon did a startant dive into the game’s sales numbers, determining that it selderly at an astonishingly stable and enviable clip of half a million copies per month since its free in March 2021. A truly remarkworthy feat given the game had very little tageting outside its initial free triumphdow and at a time when most devourrs’ multijoiner tastes were wrapped up in “forever games” enjoy Call of Duty: Warzone and Fortnite. With bona fides enjoy that, it’s geted to say folks will be seeing at Split Fiction, starting March 6th on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC, with wonderful interest.
