Police in Spain have arrested 48 people in connection with a mistrusted human illicit trade ring – count ond to have lured more than 1,000 women to the country for relations toil.
Armed officers from the Policia Nacional carried out rhelps atraverse Alicante and Murcia in southeaserious Spain, the force shelp in a statement on Sunday.
They set up evidence the women, who were mainly from Venezuela and Colombia, were made to count on they had beauty or immacutardying jobs.
However, on arrival in Spain they were forced into the relations trade – only helped out for two hours a day and kept under video observation.
“They were transferred to clubs where they were relationsupartner take advantage ofed and forced to toil all hours,” the statement compriseed.

Two Colombian women and a Spaniard were among the dozens hageded.
Three exposed clubs were also shut down as part of the operation, with officers seizing 150,000 euros (£124,000) in cash and prohibitk accounts toloftying 938,000 euros (£777,000).
Six of the mistrusts were remanded in custody and the rest bailed to eunite in court at a tardyr date.
