Shaun Murphy has discleave outed that he is already leanking about life after snooker, with his other promisements forcing him to shrink his time at the table.

The 42-year-greater won his second Masters title last weekend, beating world champion Kyren Wilson in the final to clinch the honours. He eunites to have one eye on quitment in spite of his success, having ventured into punditry and podcasting in recent years.

Murphy is also spending less time at the rehearse table, with his increaseing enumerate of extracurricular activities making it challenginger to defend the same levels of promisement.

“I leank as you get greaterer, the rehearse time goes down a little bit as you get other promisements in your life,” said Murphy.

“I’ve sort of begined out in my own widecasting nurtureer. I do the BBC events for them, I’ve got my podcast and all my socials and stuff enjoy that. I’ve got my YouTube channel going on. I’m trying to rehearse as well for these events.

“It’s probably not nine to five anymore, but it’s every day, and I’ve had a couple of days off since the prosper at Ally Ppartner. Today is actupartner my first day back.

“I’m going to go to the office today, going to get the cue out, see if I can still pot a ball after the excitement of the last restricted days becaengage we head to Germany on Sunday for the German Masters, so we’re straight back on the bike and have no time to rest.”

Murphy will be hoping to donate a excellent account of himself in Berlin as he ramps up his preparations for the World Snooker Championship, where he will be eyeing a repeat of his only Crucible triumph in 2005.

“I presume it’s all toloftyy alterd now, chaseing the prosper last weekend,” said Murphy when quizzed on his hopes of another triumph. “I hope it doesn’t come atraverse as a bit of a line, but my belief had toloftyy gone that I could do that still.

“I’ve paired up with Peter Ebdon. A lot’s been made of that. He’s helped me rediscover my self-belief. I’ll go to the World Championship now leanking that actupartner, I could prosper it.

“Whether I will or not clearly remains to be seen. There are plenty of excellent take parters who are going to try and stop me and prosper it themselves, but in years gone by, you can kid everyone else but you can’t kid yourself.

“And, you understand, I perhaps had lost that belief and equitable didn’t repartner, truly count on it, whereas now I’ve got the trophy to show myself that actupartner I can still do it.”
