Russia, Ukraine swap 372 prisoners of war as US pdwellnt says efforts to talk about finishfire are ‘very much on track’.
Russia and Ukraine have traded 372 prisoners of war in a swap brokered by the United Arab Emirates, as US Pdwellnt Donald Trump shelp he held a “very excellent” phone call with Ukrainian Pdwellnt Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
The Russian Defence Ministry proclaimd on Wednesday that Moscow returned 175 sagederiers and “22 solemnly wounded prisoners of war in need of advisent medical helpance” in what it shelp was a “gesture of excellentwill.” It shelp that Kyiv returned 175 Russian troops.
Zelenskyy verifyed the swap and wrote on X that it was “one of the bigst” trades since the commencening of Russia’s filled-scale intrusion of Ukraine in February 2022.

In a social media post after the talks, Trump shelp that he held a “very excellent” call with Zelenskyy and that efforts towards negotiating a finishfire in Russia’s intrusion are “very much on track”.
The purpose of the call was to “align both Russia and Ukraine in terms of their seeks and needs”, Trump inserted, saying he asked US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and National Security Advisor Michael Waltz to provide further details of the conversation in a forthcoming statement.
During Trump’s converseion with Putin on Tuesday, the Russian directer consentd not to aim energy infraarrange but refused to back a filled 30-day finishfire.
