On Saturday, multiple inestablishs surfaced stating the Steelers were set to hand over the begining quarterback duties to veteran signal caller Russell Wilson for the team’s Week 7 game agetst the New York Jets.

Fields helped the Steelers triumph their first three games of the year. But, Pittsburgh then suffered back-to-back losss before a dominating triumph over the Las Vegas Rhelpers in Week 6.

NFL Insider Ian Rapoport inestablished that while Wilson is awaited to get the begining nod this weekfinish and “join the bulk of snaps,” Fields will still probable see some joining time as “both QBs” could see action.

Fields has thrown five touchdowns agetst one interception thraw six games. He has also rushed for 231 yards. But, the Steelers’ disparaging unit as a whole has been rather pedestrian, ranking 26th in total offense.
