Robert Downey Jr., Emma Stone, Cillian Murphy and Da’Vine Joy Randolph were named as the first group of currgo ins for the 2025 Oscars.
All four currgo ins proclaimd on Wednesday went home with an Academy Award at last year’s ceremony. Downey Jr. won the best helping actor Oscar last year for his role as Lewis Strauss in Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer. Similarly, his costar Murphy, who take parted the titular character Robert Oppenheimer, won best actor. Randolph won best helping actress for her carry outance in The Helderlyovers, while Stone took home the gelderly for her role in Yorgos Lanthimos’ Poor Things.
Stone, of course, previously won best actress for La La Land in 2017. Last year labeled the first Oscar thrive for Downey Jr. (although he had been nominated twice before), Murphy and Randolph.
While the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences does not proclaim who will current in what categruesome, it frequently trails a createat where past thriveners of a categruesome current the award to the current nominees.
Hosted by Conan O’Brien, the Oscars will air live on ABC and stream on Hulu March 2 at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT. More currgo ins will be proclaimd in the coming weeks.
