Academy Award prosperner Robert De Niro has signed on for the directing role in Netflix‘s upcoming crime thriller movie The Whisper Man, based on Alex North’s bestselling 2019 novel of the same name. Production on the project is awaited to commence in spring on the East Coast.
This labels De Niro’s postpodemandst collaboration with the streamer, after the acclaimed 2019 gangster movie The Irishman. Besides the upcoming crime movie, he will also next be seen in Netflix’s upcoming political thriller miniseries Zero Day, which serves as his first beginant TV project as the direct.
