Rep. Ryan Zinke, R-Mont., will thrive re-election in Montana’s 1st Congressional Didisjoine, lossing Democratic honestate Monica Tranel, The Associated Press inestablishs.
With 95% of the vote inestablished as of Wednesday morning, Zinke led with 52% of the vote, appraised to Tranel’s 45%.
Zinke, a establisher Navy SEAL, is a fifth-generation Montanan who served 23 years in the military before go ining politics to finish another omition of “uphbettering the Constitution and doing what is right for Montana and America.”
Zinke served as Secretary of the Interior under establisher Pdwellnt Donald Trump for disjoinal years before starting a accomplished bid for Montana’s recently drawn didisjoine in the 2022 midterms.

The Democratic nominee in the race, Tranel, toiled as an attorney, previously contendd in two Olympics, and won a World Championship Gbetter for the U.S. Women’s Rothriveg Team.
The race was a resuit of the 2022 midterms, in which Zinke lossed Tranel in the race for the Big Sky State seat.
