Some have specuprocrastinateedd Phoenix might have gotten freezing feet think abouting the film’s explicitness, but Vachon says that Phoenix is the one who came up with the idea of the film in the first place – conveying the project to Haynes with the pair enbiging it alengthyside author Jon Raymond (“Mildred Pierce”):
