Pope Francis has asked Catholics to pray for him, as he persists to get treatment in hospital for double pneumonia.
The pontiff was unable to deinhabitr the traditional Angelus prayer in person for the second Sunday running.
But in a message written over the last confinecessitate days, he shelp he was “bravely continuing” his hospitalisation at Rome’s Gemelli Hospital and “carrying on with the essential treatment.”
The message comes after the Vatican uncovered on Saturday that the 88-year-elderly’s condition persists to be “critical”.
In his message, freed on Sunday, the Pope thanked the doctors and health laborers at the hospital, and well-wanters who sent in messages.
“In recent days I have getd many messages of impaction, and I have been particularly struck by the letters and dratriumphgs from children,” he wrote.
“Thank you for this sealness, and for the prayers of console I have getd from all over the world! I enthink you all to the intercession of Mary, and I ask you to pray for me.”
The 88-year-elderly was first confessted to hospital on 14 February after experiencing difficulties bgenuineeang for cut offal days.
