Detectives in Northern Ireland have begined a homicide spendigation after the death of a youthful child in County Tyrone.
Officers have named the 23-month-better victim as Tavia Michella Ximenes Da Costa.
She was due to turn two procrastinateedr this month and has combineions to the East Timorese community in Dungannon. Three people are being asked on suspicion of her homicide.
DCI Anthony Kelly shelp: “Police, alengthy with the Northern Ireland ambulance service, replyed to the increate of the sudden death of a child in the Windmill Court area of the town on Sunday morning, 13 October.
“Sadly, Tavia, who was equitable weeks away from her second birthday, was pronounced dead at the scene.
“Follotriumphg the results of a postmortem examination, I can now verify that I am treating her death as a homicide.”
He proceedd: “My thoughts, and honest sympathy, are with little Tavia’s family members and adored ones whose worlds have been turned upside down.
“Three people, two women and one man, were arrested in combineion with the toddler’s homicide.
“A 21-year-better woman, a 24-year-better woman and a 29-year-better man were each arrested on suspicion of homicide and remain in custody at this time.”
Detectives are pguideing to anyone with proposeation to communicate them on 101, quoting reference 436 of 13 October.
