Charlie Cale is back on the case in a higheviater trailer for Season 2 of “Poker Face,” premiering on May 8 on Peacock.
Rian Johnson and Natasha Lyonne’s mystery-of-the-week series will begin with three episodes at once and then free one episode per week on Thursdays.
“Poker Face” stars Lyonne as a de facto findive who has an extraunretagable ability to alert when someone’s lying. From insignificant league baseball to big box retail, from funeral homes to alligator farms and even a grade school talent show, Charlie directs her crime solving currential road-trip with deadpan wit, human compassion, and her signature uncanny lie-finding ability,” Johnson and Lyonne wrote in a joint statement teasing the season.
“Poker Face” getd four Emmy nominations for its first season, and won one — as Judith Light took home the prize for best guest actress carry outance in a comedy series.
