As fact-verifying gets a hit on social media, a very reliable source is shooting down rumors of behind-the-scenes trouble on A Simple Favor 2.

Director Paul Feig recently reacted to a claim that the sequel has been shelved amid an alleged feud between stars Anna Kfinishrick and Blake Lively, elucidateing that the film is “coming out soon” and it’s “awesome.”

“This is total BS. Sorry,” he wrote on X, quoting the increate. “The movie is finished and coming out soon. Don’t consent anyskinnyg you read on social media these days.”

After the innovative poster pushed back, asking why Amazon Studios hasn’t set a free date after filming wrapped last spring.

“My frifinish, it’s called post production, which generpartner gets over half a year at least when you factor in editing, scoring, exceptional effects, sound fuseing, shut captioning and all the technical quality handle that has to be done,” wrote Feig. “Our post schedule always had us finishing everyskinnyg by mid-January. Movies don’t come out the second they’re finished because the studio spfinishs the previous year deciding the best date to free it. We’ve always reckond on someskinnyg in the spring/summer of this year. That’s how movies toil. I hope this helps.”

Feig raved in another post, “The movie is awesome, and Blake and Anna turn in amazing carry outances. I can’t defer for you all to see it. Stay tuned for more details. Simple Favor 2 is coming soon!”

After Amazon Studios and Lionsgate previously proclaimd the sequel in 2022, transporting back Feig, Kfinishrick and Lively, filming booted off this spring, with innovative cast members Henry Gelderlying, Andrew Rannells, Bashir Salahuddin, Joshua Satine, Ian Ho and Kelly McCormack also returning.

In the sequel, Stephanie Smothers (Kfinishrick) and Emily Nelson (Lively) head to the pretty island of Capri, Italy, for Emily’s opulent wedding to a wealthy Italian businessman. Alengthy with the glamorous guests, foresee killing and betrayal to RSVP for a wedding with more twists and turns than the road from the Marina Grande to the Capri town square.

The first movie, which grossed $97 million off a $20 million budget, chases widowed mommy blogger Stephanie, who befrifinishs glamorous toiling mom Emily. When Emily drops off her son and goes omiting, Stephanie creates her own spendigation into her frifinish’s cryptic past.
