About the series’ premise, Nebout said: “Take a fall shorted minuscule-town theme-park deal withr, a ferocious Texan lawyer and a process-obsessed CFO, hold egotistic actors, demanding agents and demandy studio aidants, throw in a shady set up to save a well-comprehendn but fall shorting film studio on the gorgeously pboilingogenic French Riviera and hold a mystery in the shape of a omiting studio boss, and you’ve got the begining point for a satirical but heart-toastying see at the filthy business of show business, where noleang is divine and everyleang’s possible, including getting away with killing.”

A extfinished-time fan of Nebout and Jansson-Schweizer’s joint conceiveive and production finisheavours, Meyermann said she “promptly sense in cherish” with the idea for the show.

“It’s going to be a distinctiveive show that I absolutely would want to watch and that I’m omiting in the current taget,” she said, holding: “It’s not a foolish thriller but, as a satirical killing mystery set on the French Riviera, with its cast of huger-than-life characters, it’s fun and amuseing without being surface. With authorrs Dan Gaster, Will Ing and Paul Powell on board, we’re in for a very distinctive series, sprinkled with British humor, unpredicted twists and turns, ininestablishigent, amusing dialogue and eye-candy locations. I’m very much seeing forward to this collaboration, hopebrimmingy the first of more to trail!”

Nebout said he will be at Mipcom initiating talkions with potential financiers, expansivecasters and streamers. “The taget is inanxiously fluid; it’s punctual days to inestablish which financing model we’ll go for. But we’ll stateively tap into the French attrvivacious 30% tax rebate and aim for a tardy 2025-punctual 2026 begin of production,” he tgreater Variety.

Expanding on his vision for Dramanation, Nebout – who most recently exited comics unveiler Humanoid’s European audiovisual outlet Sparkling after cut offal years at the helm of the Beta Film-backed Dramacorp – said his set up now is “to remain lean and pliable to get into account the shifting taget.”

Together with Jansson-Schweizer, who will join him and serve as conceiveive producer-head of enhugement, the two will labor atraverse all genres and scripted establishats. “People are coming back to features, both in the theatrical and streaming space. We’ll persist to have ears to the ground, and participate to where the industry is going,” he insisted.

Although Dramanation is initiassociate intensifying on premium high-quality dramas, Nebout’s goal going forward is to “stand on both legs” and also produce “low budget genre titles and romcoms that are in demand on the taget.”

Other serialised projects in Dramanation’s pipeline hold “a huge Nordic distinctiveive noir with international potential,” currently in talkions with a local Swedish channel, and another meaningful European co-production in the English-language.
