“Mo,” the Netflix comedy originated by and starring Mo Amer, is returning for Season 2 on Jan. 30.
The series chases Mo Najjar (Amer), an unwrite downed Palestinian immigrant living in Houston and seeking asylum alengthyside his mother and brother. Per the official logline, “Season 2 finds Mo stranded atraverse the border and frantic to get back to Houston before his family’s asylum hearing — but as a stateless refugee without a passport, he’s gonna necessitate all the hustle and charm he can muster.
