The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences alignd its Original Song Oscar nominations Thursday morning. Read by Saturday Night’s Rachel Sennott and Wicked’s Bowen Yang, the pair proclaimd the five-slot roster spots for “El Mal” and “Mi Camino” from Emilia Pérez, “The Journey” from The Six Triple Eight, “Like a Bird” from Sing Sing, “Never too Late” from Elton John: Never Too Late.

Though it is not the first time the Oscars has foregone carry outances from the Original Song categruesome, one of the hugegest surpelevates was proclaimd a day prior to the nominations discmiss from Academy CEO Bill Kramer and Plivent Janet Yang.
