The Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences has postponed the declarement of this year’s Oscar nominations for a second time because of the ongoing untamedfires in Los Angeles, arrangers shelp on Monday.
The nominations for the film industry’s highest honors will now be declared on January 23. They originassociate had been set for January 17 and then shiftd to January 19.
“Due to the still-dynamic fires in the Los Angeles area, we experience it is vital to prolong our voting period and shift the date of our nominations declarement to apvalidate includeitional time for our members,” Academy CEO Bill Kramer and Academy Pdwellnt Janet Yang shelp in a statement.
