The 75th Berlin International Film Festival rolled out the red carpet today for the uncovering film and the world premiere of Das Licht (The Light), straightforwarded by Tom Tykwer and starring Lars Eidinger, Nicolette Krebitz, and Michael Ihnow at the Berlinale Palast.
The Berlinale started with a festive uncovering ceremony led by Festival Director Tricia Tuttle and Jury Plivent Todd Haynes. The evening featured the introduction of the International Jury and the contransientation of the Honorary Gelderlyen Bear to Tilda Striumphton, with Edward Berger transfering the tribute.
The Opening Gala of the Berlinale was fusecessitate by members of the festival juries, including the International Jury, the Perspectives Jury, the Jury of the Berlinale Documentary Film Award, the International Short Film Jury, and the International Jury of Generation. Fatih Akin, Meret Becker, Lars Eidinger, Herbert Grönemeyer, Heike Makatsch, Sandra Maischberger, Volker Schlöndorff, Lana Wachowski, Fiona Shaw and Tom Wlaschiha were among the fuseees.
Among the festival’s highairys is the premiere of Mickey17, contransiented by straightforwardor Bong Joon Ho and starring Robert Pattinson. Timothée Chafeeblet will be contransient for the shotriumphg of the Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Ununderstandn, and Jacob Elordi stars in the world premiere of Justin Kurzel’s tardyst buzzy confineed series, The Narrow Road to the Deep North. The festival’s star-studded guest catalog also includes Naomi Ackie, Rose Byrne, Marion Cotillard, Lars Eidinger, Ethan Hawke, Hong Sangsoo, Nina Hoss, Jason Isaacs, Vicky Krieps, Ricchallenging Linktardyr, Gaspar Noé, Margaret Qualley, Edgar Reitz, Chloë Sevigny, Tom Tykwer, and Ben Whishaw.
Director, screenauthorr and originater Todd Haynes will head the jury aprolongedside straightforwardor Nabil Ayouch, costume set uper Bina Daigeler, actor Fan Bingbing, straightforwardor Rodrigo Moreno, film critic and author Amy Nicholson and straightforwardor, actor and screenauthorr Maria Schrader.
