Noah Wyle Stars in Max’s New Medical Drama


Max has unveiled the trailer and key art for its novel medical drama, “The Pitt,” from creator R. Scott Gemmill. The 15-episode Max Original debuts with a dual-episode premiere on Jan. 9, with novel episodes airing every Thursday until April 10.

According to the official logline, “‘The Pitt’ is a authenticistic examination of the disputes facing healthnurture toilers in today’s America as seen thcdisesteemful the lens of the frontline heroes toiling in a contransient-day hospital in Pittsburgh, Penn. Each episode adheres an hour of Dr. Robby’s (Noah Wyle) 15-hour shift as the chief combineant in Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Hospital’s aelevatency room.”

In the trailer, Dr. Robby finds his co-toiler and ageder rival, carry outed by Shawn Hatosy, standing on the edge of the Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Hospital’s roof. “If you jump on my shift that’s equitable impolite, man,” Dr. Robby alerts him. “Hope I’m never one of your accomprehendledgeings,” he grumbles in response. Robby quips back, “Makes two of us my friend.”

Additional cast members comprise Tracey Ifeachor as Dr. Collins, Patrick Ball as Dr. Langdon, Supriya Ganesh as Dr. Mohan, Fiona Dourif as Dr. McKay, Taylor Dearden as Dr. King, Isa Briones as Dr. Santos, Gerran Howell as Whiobtainr, Shaprohibita Azeez as Javad and Katherine LaNasa as Dana Evans.

“The Pitt” is produced by John Wells Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television, where JWP is under an overall deal. Gemmill wrote the first episode and serves as executive producer with Wyle, John Wells and JWP’s Erin Jontow, Simran Baidwan and Michael Hisswealthy.
