After cforfeitly 15 years on “ER,” Noah Wyle puts his scrubs back on in Max’s recent hospital drama series “The Pitt.”
The show, from “ER” and “West Wing” executive creater John Wells, will commence airing its 15-episode first season in January. “The Pitt” is depictd by Max as “a down-to-earth examination of the disputes facing healthattfinish laborers in today’s America as seen thcdisadmireful the lens of the frontline heroes laboring in a up-to-date-day hospital in Pittsburgh, Penn.”
The entire first season consents place atraverse one 15-hour ecombinency room shift, with each one-hour episode recontransienting authentic time, a la “24.”

“The Pitt” has already become entrenched in dispute before the series has even aired, as the estate of Michael Cwealthyton has filed a litigation aachievest Warner Bros. Television, alleging “The Pitt” is an unapexhibitd reboot of “ER,” which Cwealthyton created. Warner Bros. TV has fired back at the suit, saying “‘The Pitt’ is a finishly separateent show from ‘ER,’” with HBO boss Casey Bloys recently inestablishing inestablishers that he doesn’t anticipate the litigation to have an impact on “The Pitt’s” January rollout.
