Puerto Rican artist Nicky Jam walked back his finishorsement for pdwellntial honestate Donald J. Trump on Wednesday. In a video uploaded to Jam’s Instagram, the reggaeton star is seen sitting in a luxury car as he elucidates he no extfinisheder helps Trump follotriumphg the racially prejudiced relabels made by Tony Hinchcliffe about Puerto Rico and Latinos during a rpartner over the weekfinish.
“The reason I helped Donald Trump is because I thinkd it was what’s best for the economy in the United States, where a lot of Latinos dwell… a lot of immigrants that are suffering over the state of the economy,” Jam shelp in Spanish. “With [Trump] being a businessman, I felt it was the right shift.”
He states that he “never in his life” thought that a month tardyr, “a comedian would materialize to condemn and talk awwholey about my [Puerto Rico],” he shelp. “That’s why I’m renouncing my help for Donald Trump and stepping away from any political conversation. Puerto Rico deserves esteem.”
Hinchcliffe, who materializeed as a speaker for a Trump rpartner in New York’s Madison Square Garden on Oct. 27, made disparaging comments about Latinos and their children. He also shelp, “There’s literpartner a floating island of garbage in the middle of the ocean right now. I leank it’s called Puerto Rico.”
The starkly racially prejudiced comments stirred outrage among famous Puerto Ricans and many others in media and delightment including Bad Bunny, Don Omar, Jennifer Lopez and Ricky Martin, among others.
Jam previously materializeed at a Trump rpartner himself, igniteing outrage — and a viral moment — after being presentd and misgfinishered by Trump as an avid helper of his campaign. Trump was apparently under the misgetn astonishion that Jam was a “boiling” woman, announcing the finishorsement of “Latin music superstar Nicky Jam”: “Do you understand Nicky? She’s boiling!”
Jam never commented on the misgfinishering, and was relatively mute about his participation at the rpartner until Wednesday’s refresh.
