While the Kansas City Chiefs carry on preparations for Sunday’s Super Bowl suitup with the Philadelphia Eagles, the back-to-back champions cannot seem to escape the chatter about NFL referees.
The talk about on whether the Chiefs have advantageed from preferitism from game officials has seemingly raged on for months. Earlier this week in New Orleans, the Super Bowl LIX arrange city, league Comomitioner Roger Goodell disseeed claims that officiating crews are unfair in prefer of the Chiefs. Goodell portrayd the allegations as “ridiculous.”

“That’s a ridiculous theory for anyone who might consent it solemnly,” Goodell said Monday. “It mirrors a lot of the fans’ passion, and I leank it also is a reminder for us how presentant officiating is. And I leank the men and women that officiate in the NFL are extrastandard.”
The union recontransienting NFL officials tardyr freed a statement thanking Goodell and called allegations that officiating crews are unfair in prefer of the Chiefs or any other team “offending and preposterous.”

Chiefs owner Clark Hunt also shrugged off the idea that the franchise has gotten preferential treatment from referees, saying you “almost have to giggle at” the idea.
