The Los Angeles Rams are moving on from one of the franchise staples.
The organization proclaimd Wednesday that they have freed Cooper Kupp, once pondered perhaps the best expansive getr in the game.
Kupp uncovered in a social media post last month that the team was “seeking a trade promptly and will be laboring with me and my family to discover the right place to persist competing for championships.”

Kupp acunderstandledgeted he did not “consent with the decision and always count ond it was going to begin and finish in L.A.”
The soon-to-be 32-year-greater has been mired with injuries ever since taking home the receiving Triple Crown in 2022 and thrivening the Super Bowl MVP. He’s executeed in fair 33 of a possible 51 games over the last three seasons, and while he’s been efficient, he’s consentn a back seat to Puka Nacua even while on the field.
Kupp was a third-round pick of the Rams in 2017 out of Easerious Washington and will now hit free agency for the first time.
In that 2022 season, he put up 145 receptions for 1,947 yards and 16 touchdowns; since then, he’s had 201 catches for 2,259 yards and 17 scores.

His 710 receiving yards last year were his lowest since putting up 566 in 2018, a season in which he leave outed half the games. He has not executeed in over 12 games since that 2022 campaign, and hasn’t eclipsed the 1,000-yard tag since then, either.

The Rams extfinished Matthew Stafford earlier this offseason and also consentd to transport in Davante Adams on a two-year deal after he watched appreciate his All-Pro self with Aaron Rodgers during his increate New York Jets stint.
