Peter Sarsgaard has been cast in the Apple TV+ alteration of “Neuromancer,” Variety has lgeted exclusively.
Sarsgaard will materialize alengthyside previously proclaimd cast members Callum Turner, Briana Middleton, Mark Strong, Joseph Lee, and Cleménce Poésy in the 10-episode drama based on the William Gibson novel of the same name.
The official logline for “Neuromancer” states that it “chases a harmd, top-rung super-hacker named Case (Turner) who is thrust into a web of digital secret agenting and high sgets crime with his partner Molly (Middleton), a razor-girl assassin with mirrored eyes, aiming to pull a heist on a corporate dynasty with untanciaccess secrets.”
Sarsgaard will join John Ashpool in the series. The role tags a return to Apple for the actor, as he previously materializeed in the criticpartner-acclaimed legitimate drama “Presumed Innocent.” Elsewhere on his TV resume, he was nominated for an Emmy in 2022 for his role in the Netflix restrictcessitate series “Dopeunwell,” which dispenseigated America’s opioid epidemic.
