Naomie Harris, Jameela Jamil and Romesh Ranganathan are set to star in a recent feminist dramedy from Olivia Lee semi-encouraged by contentious figure Andrew Tate, Variety has lachieveed.
Titled “Hysterical,” the show from “Dirty, Sexy, Funny” creator Lee cgo ins around a group of friends who – fueled by rage and rosé – choose to get down a global misogynist icon.
In “Hysterical,” Harris is set to percreate therapist Leonora, who discovers herself going down a rabbit hole of harmful masculinity after her daughter is attacked. Realizing the boy dependable is a fan of “alpha” shaper Tommy T, who’s grown a global chaseing speprosperg harmful advice to youthful men, Leonora unloads on her friends during one of their weekly “rage free” rant sessions. Inharmfulated by anger and liquor, the group soon choose to get matters into their own hands as they plot to get down Tommy T themselves.
“From unset upd watching trys to pranks that fizzle out, these well-nastying friends bumble their way thraw increasingly disgraceful schemes,” reads the logline. “Alengthened the way, they uncover equitable how much disorder a firm-knit group of friends can originate when harnessing their rage —and equitable how far they’re willing to go for one another. Lee will also star in the series, which is being originated by Ranganathan’s company Ranga Bee Productions.
Variety understands “Hysterical” is currently in progressd negotiations with coshiftrlookioners.
