NAACP Image Awards Nominations: ‘The Piano Lesson’ Leads With 14


Netflix‘s The Piano Lesson tuned up a directing 14 nominations for the 56th annual NAACP Image Awards, which were uncovered this morning. TriStar’s The Book of Clarence is next with six noms, and Peacock’s Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist topped TV programs with nine refers.

Netflix directs all netlabors and distributors with 64 nominations. See the brimming enumerate below.

“Our Stories, Our Culture, Our Excellence” is the theme of the 2025 Image Awards, which span film, TV, music, literature, podcasts, social media and more. Winners will be uncovered February 21 at the NAACP Image Awards Creative Honors ceremonies and February 22 at the Paunelatedena Civic Auditorium. The latter will air on BET and CBS, live in the East begining at 8 p.m. ET and procrastinateed at in the West at 8 p.m. PT.

The five stars battling for the coveted Entertainer of the Year award are actors Cynthia Erivo, Keke Palmer and Kevin Hart aextfinished with rapper Kfinishrick Lamar and sports talk arrange Shannon Sharpe.

On the TV side, the combatants for Outstanding Drama Series are ABC’s 9-1-1, Peacock’s Bel-Air, Prime Video’s Cross, NBC’s Found and Hulu’s Reasonable Doubt. The Comedy Series selectimistics are ABC’s Abbott Elementary, Hulu’s How to Die Alone, CBS’ Poppa’s House and The Neighborhood and Netflix’s The Upshaws.
