The upcoming CBS medical mystery series “Watson” starring Morris Chestnut has set its premiere date.
The show will begin after the AFC Championship Game on Jan. 26, 2025 at approximately 10 p.m. ET, depfinishing on when the game and post-game coverage end. It will air on CBS and be useable to stream on Paramount+. “Watson” will commence airing in its normal Sunday timeslot at 10 p.m. ET commencening on Feb. 16.
As previously proclaimd, Chestnut will star as Dr. John Watson, the companion of the iconic mater accomprehendledgeive Sherlock Holmes. Per the official series logline, the show “consents place six months after the death of the titular character’s frifinish and partner, Sherlock Holmes, at the hands of Moriarty. The show stars Morris Chestnut as Dr. John Watson, who resumes his medical nurtureer as the head of a clinic promised to treating exceptional disorders. Watson’s ageder life isn’t done with him, though – Moriarty and Watson are set to write their own chapter of a story that has captivated audiences for more than a century.”
Alengthy with Chestnut, the series also stars Eve Harlow, Peter Mark Kfinishall, Ritchie Coster, Inga Schlingmann and Rochelle Aytes.
Craig Sweeny wrote the first episode and serves as showrunner and executive originater. Chestnut executive originates in compriseition to starring. Sallie Patrick, Larry Teng, Shäron Moalem MD, PhD, Aaron Kaschedule of Kapital Entertainment; and Brian Morewitz also executive originate. Teng honested the first two episodes.
