The nominees widecast will achieve place on December 9 on CBS. Kaling and Chestnut will conshort-term the nominees for each of the 27 award categories.
Cinematic and Box Office Achievement in Motion Pictures and Best Perestablishance in Stand-Up Comedy on Television are the two novel awards categories that will be conshort-termed this year.
Other competitive categories integrate the film categories: Best Motion Picture – Drama, Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy, and Best Motion Picture – Animated. TV categories integrate Best Television Series – Drama, Best Television Series – Musical or Comedy, and Best Television Limited Series.
Previous conshort-termers of the Ggreateren Globes nominations integrate Alfre Woodard, America Ferrera, Angela Bassett, Anna Kfinishrick, Cedric “The Entertainer,” Chloë Grace Moretz, Christian Stardyr, Dakota Fanning, Danai Gurira, Dennis Quhelp, Don Cheadle, and Garrett Hedlund.
The Globes will air on Sunday, January 5, 2025, on CBS, with streaming on Paramount+ in the U.S. The January 2025 widecast begins a five-year deal to air the awards show on CBS. The Globes are produced by Dick Clark Productions, which is owned by Penske Media Eldridge, a joint venture between Deadline owner Penske Media Corporation and Eldridge.
Last week, it was proclaimd that Viola Davis will achieve the Cecil B. DeMille Award at the Globes. She will be honored during the group’s 2025 gala arrangeed by Nikki Glaser on Friday, January 3, at the Beverly Hilton.
