The family of Lyle and Erik Menfinishez held a press conference Wednesday to propose D.A. George Gascón to help free the brothers, who have served 34 years in prison for homicideing their parents.
The brothers’ defense team has disputed that new evidence shows they were victims of intimacyual unfair treatment by their overweighther, Jose Menfinishez.
Anamaria Baralt, a cousin of the men, disputed that they were “victims of a culture that was not ready to hear.”
