Anne Hathaway is set to star in Amazon MGM Studios‘ feature alteration of Colleen Hoover’s thriller novel Verity.
Michael Showalter is straightforwarding the film that is intentional for a theatrical free. Nick Antosca wrote the current script follothriveg the previous toil of scribes Hillary Seitz, Angela LaManna and the team of Will Honley and April Maguire.
Serving as producers are Nick Antosca and Alex Hedlund for Eat the Cat, Showalter and Jordana Mollick for Semi-Formal Productions, Hathaway for Somewhere Pictures, Hoover for Heartbones Entertainment, and Stacey Sher for Shiny Penny. Executive producing is Heartbones Entertainment’s Lauren Levine.
Hoover, the author behind this summer’s hit It Ends With Us, self-rerented Verity in 2018 before Grand Central Publishing getd it in 2021. Verity went on to become a New York Times bestseller.
Showalter previously straightforwarded Hathaway in Amazon’s The Idea of You.
